How does the oil mist come from? Generally, it includes the following situations:

However, not all factors have a decisive effect on the formation of oil mist. The formation of oil mist in metal cutting fluids during machining can be attributed to two mechanisms, atomization and evaporation. Atomization is the process of conversion of mechanical energy into surface energy of droplets, mainly due to the intense effect of liquid on the fixed and rotating units in the machine tool system. The impact, smashed by it, forms small droplets floating in the working environment; evaporation occurs because of a large amount of heat generated in the cutting zone, which transfers heat to the cutting fluid so that its temperature is significantly higher than the saturation temperature, boiling occurs on the solid-liquid contact surface and produces steam.
The steam then condenses at the core of small droplets or other particles in the surrounding air to form an oil mist.
As a result, a large amount of oil mist and oil smoke will be produced, and 0.3-3.5 micron particles will inhale in the human body to pose a health hazard, oil mist deposited in the work area, easy to cause work injuries and other accidents, harmful to the physical and mental health of employees; at the same time, the workplace mist diffuse, reducing production efficiency; oil mist deposited on the wall, equipment has a potential fire hazard. And may become the internal and electrical system failure of machine tools.
If the mist is discharged to the outside, it will damage the environment. The oil mist enters the filter chamber from the suction port and is adsorbed on the gas-liquid sintering net. After accumulation and combination, the oil mist slides and sinks to the bottom under the action of gravity. The oil mist is drained to the oil tank and collected through the oil drainage pipe.
The remaining small amount of oil mist is completely absorbed by the special primary filter felt at the outlet of the filter chamber, and the same is collected into the tank. The smell of air discharged from the outlet is adsorbed by activated carbon in the muffler and eliminated. Clean air discharged into the workshop can be recycled again.

1. 2. Adsorption-recovery method: The organic waste gas is adsorbed by activated carbon fiber, and desorbed and regenerated by superheated steam after approaching saturation.
3. New adsorption-catalytic combustion method: this method combines the advantages of adsorption method and catalytic combustion method. A new type of adsorption material (honeycomb activated carbon) is used to adsorb, and hot air is introduced to desorb and analyse after approaching saturation. Greatly reduce energy consumption. This method is characterized by stable and reliable operation, low investment, low operation cost and convenient maintenance. It is suitable for the treatment of waste gas with high air volume and low concentration. It is a mature and practical method for the treatment of organic waste gas in China.
