    The application of the regenerative exhaust gas incinerator (RTO) in the color coating line
    The working principle of regenerative exhaust gas treatment furnace (RTO) is introduced. RTO is a perfect combination of regenerative combustion technology and exhaust gas incineration technology. At the same time, an improved 2 chamber RTO with blowback system is introduced.
    This paper mainly introduces the application of regenerative exhaust gas incinerator in color coating production line of steel plate. The color coated steel plate has been developed rapidly in recent years and has been widely used in many fields. The treatment of toxic solvent produced in the process of painting is mostly used in the incinerator of the horizontal torpedo tank. With the continuous improvement of energy saving, especially the environmental requirements, the regenerative waste gas incinerator has gradually moved from theoretical research to work in recent years. The practice has been used in the color coating line of a state-owned enterprise.


    The principle of 1 organic solvent incineration and the characteristics of RTO
    The organic solvent produced by the coating of the steel plate is treated by incineration before discharge. The conditions for solvent incineration are sufficient temperature (760 degrees C), sufficient residence time (1.6s), a good mixture of air and solvent, and a large amount of heat can be produced when the solvent is incineration.
    With the successful operation of regenerative combustion technology in the field of steel rolling reheating furnace, the development of waste gas incinerator is greatly promoted. RTO is the engineering technology which has made great breakthroughs in the field of energy conservation and environmental protection by applying the regenerative combustion technology to the waste gas incinerator.
    Regenerative exhaust gas incinerator (RegenerativeThermalOxidiger) is referred to as RTO. It is a new generation of organic waste gas treatment equipment. The principle of its working principle is: after heating up the organic waste gas through the preheating chamber, it enters the combustion chamber at high temperature incineration (heating up to 800 C), oxidizes the organic matter into carbon dioxide and water, and then releases the heat after the other regenerator storage, and the stored heat is used to preheat the newly entered organic waste gas and periodically change the direction of the air flow. Keep the furnace temperature stable.
    The working principle of RTO equipment is shown in Figure 1. The equipment has 3 symmetric regenerator and 2 combustion chambers, the organic waste gas first enters the ceramic regenerator A under the effect of the blower, and enters the combustion chamber after the heat absorption. The regenerator A is cooled by the heat release, and the gas after the heat is heated into the regenerator B, and the heat is stored in the ceramic regenerator of the regenerator chamber by heat exchange and then discharged. At the same time, the residual untreated organic waste gas in the C space of the regenerator chamber is blown back to the combustor by the purified gas for incineration. After a certain period of time (about 2min), the direction of the air flow changes from the regenerator B into the combustion chamber. After heating up the heat in the regenerator B, the heat is incineration in the furnace, and finally after the heat exchange of the regenerator chamber C. At the same time, the regenerator A is in the state of reverse sweep. After a certain period of time (about 2min), the air flow changes direction, alternately alternately. The cycle ensures that the combustion chamber temperature is above 800 degree C, thus ensuring high removal rate and heat transfer efficiency.
    The RTO equipment consists of 3 regenerative chambers, 2 combustion chambers and 6 main air flow switching valves. The heat storage chamber is filled with honeycomb ceramic regenerator, and each combustion chamber is equipped with a proportional liquefied petroleum gas burner. The heating capacity of each burner is automatically adjusted through the PID regulator through the temperature feedback signal in the furnace. In addition, the combustion system also has the functions of automatic pre blowing, extinguishing, overtemperature alarm and ultra temperature automatic cutting off fuel supply. The RTO furnace has 6 kinds of states: pre blowing, ignition, heating, incineration, heat preservation, and post blowing and stopping, when the RTO furnace is in pre blowing, ignition, heating, heat preservation, and after blowing down 5.
    When discharged, the exhaust gas in the drying chamber is discharged directly. This equipment can automatically give the actual operating air volume of the RTO furnace according to the opening and stopping state of each drying chamber, and then automatically adjust the blower, speed and air volume of the RTO furnace system by the frequency converter in order to ensure the normal production of the drying chamber. Once the RTO furnace fails, the RTO furnace will send out the signal to the drying chamber and the exhaust gas is straight. The RTO furnace turns to the fault blowing state. RTO performance characteristics:
    (1) purification efficiency is high, two rooms can reach 94%, three rooms can reach 99%.
    (2) heat exchange efficiency is high (>90%), energy saving, organic waste gas 3g/m3 above concentration can achieve heat balance.
    (3) low resistance, small fan installed power, low energy consumption and low running cost.
    (4) high temperature (1000 degree C) and normal temperature 800~850 degree C.
    2 characteristics of color coating RTO in a certain enterprise
    The color coating RTO, which has been put into use, is a typical 2 chamber furnace, including 2 pairs of regenerator and 1 combustion chambers, and the amount of waste gas processing is about 44000m3/h, which is the largest RTO equipment in the country. The maximum speed of the color coating unit is 110m/min.
    The combustion system of RTO is a special ECLIPSE combustion machine, which is characterized by a 1: 40 adjustment ratio, and it also adapts well to the pressure fluctuation of the combustion chamber in the changing direction of the RTO. As a reversing equipment, it can adjust the shut-off valve to meet the requirement of 40~60s reversing once and running for a long time.
    The operation of the RTO not only puts forward new and higher requirements in the field of energy conservation, but also puts forward new standards for exhaust emissions.
    Problems and solutions to the existence of 3RTO
    In order to solve this problem, the best way to solve this problem is 3 room RTO, but the cost is expensive. In order to solve this problem, the 2 room RTO is used to reduce the outer row. A RTO based on the 2 chamber plus anti blow function is designed, which is the 2 chamber RTO plus anti blow.
    The regenerator (A), the regenerator (B) and the combustion chamber add a blowback chamber at the gas discharge area. The aim of the back chamber is to introduce the gas through the shut-off valve to the back chamber in the process of reversing, while the air exhaust and the reversing of the reverse blow room are finished, and the fan will first blow the back of the chamber.
